Germain is serving his first full term on the Board. Last term Germain was elected to an open one year seat one term in a special election. His newest term will take effect January 1, 2008 and run through December 31, 2010. The UPAR Board is the governing body for all MLS offices in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The UPAR Board is responsible for all policies and services that go into effect for the MLS offices. He completed the 40 hour Institute One course through Holloway's Institute in April. Holloway's Institute is one of Michigan's leading schools for realty. Also in April of 2004, he passed the Michigan State Real Estate Exam. Chris is a 2001 graduate of Escanaba High School. During his time in high school he was involved with many different organizations. Some of his past organizations include: Key Club International Board of Directors, SADD (Community Liaison), Michigan State Youth As Resources (Chairperson), Youth In Government, and more. He remains active in public service today through the Michigan State Youth As Resources. Through MSYAR he runs a 9-11 Memorial in Escanaba yearly as well as working other events. Chris has helped new businesses and organizations with their public relations and marketing for several years. He recently was asked to spend a weekend in Branson to consult for the 50K Team.
